I’ve never been this apathetic about finals week before in my life.
I made a study schedule for myself, which I followed for about 4 hours, but I just wasted 2 clicking around online…
My Organic Chem II final is tomorrow. I only need a 70 on the final to secure a solid B for the semester. So there’s that.
Microbiology is hopeless. I will get a B in that class no matter what. And all other classes, I probably need a 60 on my finals to bump me down from an A.
For Illustration, I need one more portfolio piece, but I’m cheating and entering in something old. And turning in my process diary as it is… all 8 pages of it (I think there were supposed to be 20, but our professor knows the idea failed and no one actually had time to do it.)
APATHY EVERYWHERE. LET ME LAY IN BED AND WATCH DISNEY MOVIES ALL DAY PLEASE.
It’s been a productive day: Finished a paper; finished editing and adding to the methods section of our Micro Lab paper (50 pages due Thursday- scary!!); finished some online Ochem homework; and broke the washing machine (wait, what?)
ANYWAY I accomplished all of it while creeping around the indie corner of YouTube (and eating my weight in cheese and Dill Triscuits). Found some pretty good music, so I’ll post a few over the next couple of days.
Also, maintenance will be here for the washing machine tomorrow.
Also, also, my sunburn is starting to look less scary.

I have killed five gnats in the last 30 minutes. To whoever in our house decided it was a good idea to leave half a banana out now that we have had the windows open for two days……. WHY??
This is bringing back nightmares from Genetics lab.
And also to whoever is going to eventually eat that banana: Ew. If only you knew about the microscopic things that went on in this house. Did you know that in some genera of bacteria, it only takes 24 hours or less to produce ONE BILLION BACTERIAL CELLS from a single original cell? And that when hand sanitizer kills 99.99% there are still MILLIONS OF BACTERIA LEFT in that 0.01%?!?
No, you didn’t know that. But I do. And I have to think about it. Every. Day.
